Classic method Spumante

The Barbaione estate covers a total of 110 hectares, including 17 hectares of Chianti Classico vineyards. It is located in the lands bordering Castello di Bossi and Tenuta di Renieri, with an exposure ranging from southeast to southwest.

The buildings within the estate are rich in history, and the main Villa dates back to 1200. Today, the three neighboring companies, Castello di Bossi, Tenuta di Renieri, and Barbaione, together form a unique entity among the most significant in Tuscany.

At Barbaione, classic method sparkling wine is produced and aged using Sangiovese grapes.
