Bacci Wines: the best of Tuscan excellence

Bacci Wines embraces the finest of Tuscan excellences, with a particular focus on the region's three prestigious DOCG, DOC and IGT wines: Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, and Morellino di Scansano.

Our mission is to offer our customers the opportunity to enjoy the world's best wines at any time and wherever they may be. To achieve this goal, we have created a group of organic wineries powered by clean energy located throughout Tuscany in the best territories. Among these, the standout names include Castello di Bossi, Tenuta di Renieri, Barbaione, Renieri, and Terre di Talamo. Together, these five estates encompass over 900 hectares of vineyards and produce a wide range of wine labels, including reds, whites, rosés, sweet wines, and sparkling wines. A recent addition is Terre Darrigo in Sicily, located at 650/700 meters above sea level. There, the finest Etna DOC wines are produced, with vineyards facing the volcano on one side and the sea on the other.

Our vision is to produce high-quality organic wines across our entire portfolio. We have chosen the organic approach because we firmly believe in safeguarding the beauty and integrity of our land, while simultaneously ensuring extraordinary quality standards and an unparalleled tasting experience."

Winemaker

A family tradition, a passion for wine

Marco & Jacopo Bacci

Marco Bacci was born in Florence in 1959 to a family deeply rooted in Tuscany. At the age of 19, he embarked on a career path within the family business specializing in clothing, which at the time produced between 300 and 500 garments per day. In less than two years, production increased significantly, reaching 20,000/25,000 pieces per day, making it an iconic fashion company in Italy. Concurrently, Marco founded a real estate company, capitalizing on the period of economic growth in the sector. In a short period, the company acquired several properties, including the acquisition of Castello di Bossi in 1984, whose extension was a quarter of its current size. Initially, enology was a pleasant hobby for Marco, until 1985 when he bottled his first Corbaia wine. For a long period, he balanced his commitment to the fashion world with his passion for wine. During his time in Africa, he acquired a ranch in Zimbabwe and contributed to the creation of a reserve for the black rhinoceros. The turning point came in 1996 when Marco decided to leave the fashion industry to dedicate heart and soul to the wine industry. In 1998, he acquired Renieri, initiating the production of Brunello di Montalcino, and in 2001, he added Terre di Talamo, in the prestigious Morellino di Scansano DOCG, thus completing the coverage of the three main Tuscan DOCGs. Marco holds 100% control of the company International Consulting and Trading. His passions range from scuba diving to fishing, skiing to hunting, flying to Ferrari cars. A polyglot, he speaks Italian, English, and French; he is the father of three: Jacopo, Barbara, and Benedetta. His best friend is the adorable dachshund named Babà.

A passion for wine that spreads overseas

Jacopo Bacci was born in Florence in 1984. After obtaining a diploma in scientific studies, he enrolled at the University of Enology in Florence. In parallel, between 2004 and 2006, he began working in the family business, taking responsibility for the Italian, English, and German markets. After two years of experience in Europe, he plunged into the waters of the US and Canadian markets. Initially, he collaborated with the national importer, and then established new direct distribution lines. The American market, famously fragmented by different laws in each state, presents a complex challenge to tackle. Therefore, Jacopo travels to the United States annually with the goal of expanding the brand's presence through direct channels, growing the sales team, and increasing corporate visibility.

Starting in 2009, he spearheaded the expansion of the Bacci Wines Group into the Asian market, spanning Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore. This work dimension allowed him to develop across multiple continents, immerse himself in diverse cultures, and broaden his worldview.
