Castello di Bossi represents the beating heart of Bacci Wines, a symbol of tradition and innovation that embodies the essence of Tuscan viticulture. With its privileged position in the south of Chianti Classico, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, this historic estate is not only the hub of wine production, but also the center of a vision that combines centuries of history with a passion for wine. The first tower of the castle dates back to 1099, and in 1450 the structure took the form of a quadrilateral fortification, testifying to its defensive origins and its connection with the territory. Today the estate extends over 500 hectares, of which 120 are cultivated with vineyards, with an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level.

Renieri extends over approximately 120 hectares, of which 30 are cultivated with vineyards, in the heart of the southern area of ​​Montalcino, one of the most renowned areas for high-quality viticulture. Its lands, which overlook the majestic Monte Amiata, represent the vibrant core of the Brunello di Montalcino denomination, one of the most prestigious in the world. The altitude of the vineyards, located 400 meters above sea level, and the circular exposure, which varies from east to northwest, create an ideal microclimate for the perfect ripening of the grapes, allowing them to best express the unique characteristics of the territory.

Terre di Talamo is located in the beautiful Maremma Toscana, south of Grosseto, in an area that boasts a long and rich winemaking tradition. The controlled and guaranteed designation of origin (DOCG) is the renowned Morellino di Scansano. The vineyards extend over approximately 35 hectares, with a privileged view of the sea, and are characterized by a wide range of grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Alicante, Petit Verdot, Vermentino and Viognier.

Tenuta di Renieri is located in the heart of the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, one of the most renowned and suitable areas of Chianti Classico. The property, which borders the prestigious lands of Castello di Bossi, extends over approximately 60 hectares, of which 22 are cultivated with vineyards. Specializing in the production of Chianti Classico and Chianti Classico Riserva, the estate is an authentic expression of the territory, standing out for the superior quality of its wines. The vineyards, facing south, enjoy a privileged position that guarantees perfect sun exposure and optimal ripening of the grapes, creating an ideal balance between structure and freshness.

Tenuta di Barbaione extends over a total of 110 hectares, of which 17 are cultivated with vineyards, and is located in a privileged position, bordering the prestigious Castello di Bossi and Tenuta di Renieri. The exposure of the vineyards, which goes from south-east to south-west, guarantees ideal conditions for the ripening of the grapes, favoring the production of wines of the highest quality. The historical heritage of the estate is equally extraordinary: the main villa, which dates back to the 13th century, and the other buildings present tell centuries of history, inserted in a landscape of rare beauty that makes the place even more fascinating.

Tenuta Terre Darrigo, recently acquired by Bacci Wines, is located in the municipality of Linguaglossa, at an altitude of 650-700 meters above sea level, in the historic district of D'Arrigo, at the foot of the imposing Etna volcano. This extraordinary position offers a breathtaking view, ranging from the crystalline sea of Taormina on one side, to the majestic peak of the Etna volcano on the other, creating a perfect meeting between the strength of the mountain and the serenity of the sea.

TALAMO A MARE

The underwater cellar is an extraordinary experimental project that pushes the boundaries of winemaking innovation to new heights. A total of 9,000 bottles of Talamo IGT have been immersed 35 meters deep in the sea of ​​Talamone, to complete their refinement in a natural and constant environment, where the temperature and pressure are ideal for a unique evolution. The idea was born from an intuition of Marco Bacci, who observed how wines improved while sailing on his boat.

Bacci Wines’ latest acquisition is located in Sardinia, in the beautiful and remote Central-Eastern area of ​​the “happy island”, precisely in Mamojada. This isolated corner, known for its uncontaminated beauty and its winemaking history, is home to the Blue Zone winery, which represents a new and  fascinating challenge for Bacci Wines, blending tradition, innovation and the authentic character of the Sardinian territory. The territory of Mamojada is famous for its historic vineyards, with centuries-old Cannonau plants, an authentic treasure protected by the isolation that prevented Phylloxera, which in 1920 destroyed 99% of European vineyards, from reaching this area.
