Renieri

Renieri extends over approximately 120 hectares, of which 30 are cultivated with vineyards, in the heart of the southern area of Montalcino, one of the most renowned areas for high-quality viticulture. Its lands, which overlook the majestic Monte Amiata, represent the vibrant core of the Brunello di Montalcino denomination, one of the most prestigious in the world. The altitude of the vineyards, located 400 meters above sea level, and the circular exposure, which varies from east to northwest, create an ideal microclimate for the perfect ripening of the grapes, allowing them to best express the unique characteristics of the territory. Renieri's volcanic soil, a mosaic rich in limestone, rock, red clay and tuff, is the distinctive heart that gives the wines extraordinary depth, structure and complexity. Sangiovese, the symbolic grape of Montalcino, is the absolute protagonist of the estate, destined for the production of the prized Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino. The estate also grows a small amount of Syrah, vinified as a single varietal, while Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot are used to produce IGT wines, characterized by an elegant and contemporary profile. The cellar of over 1000 square meters is underground, a design choice that uses gravity to gently move the grapes, maintaining the optimal temperature for aging. This innovative architecture reflects Renieri's commitment to preserving and enhancing the deep connection with the territory of Montalcino, combining tradition and modernity to create wines that embody unparalleled quality and the authenticity of the terroir. The result is an authentic expression of the territory, in which each bottle tells a story of passion, innovation and respect for tradition.
