Talamo a Mare
The underwater cellar is a unique experiment: 9,000 bottles of Talamo IGT have been submerged at a depth of 35 meters in the sea of Talamone to complete aging at a constant temperature of 16 degrees Celsius: a task accomplished with the expertise of diving and underwater sports professionals.
The bottles were positioned with the assistance of a 40-meter pontoon and the collaboration of Cressi Sub.
The objective is clear: to avoid any natural impact, while also harnessing the movement of the sea to enhance the wine. Marco Bacci has indeed noticed that wines age better on his boat.
Terre di Talamo is extremely close to the immersion point, allowing for the production of a unique "zero kilometer" wine.
